A: Do you think that the series is a commentary on Mexico now?
T: Honestly, at first I said, “I don’t think that people will ask themselves much; for me it’s an adventure and suspense series, it’s cool and fun, to have a good time.” But I only started to realize when they were doing interviews with us and asked us things like, “And are you ready to handle the response that people are going to have to a subject that’s this strong and serious theme?” And I still was thinking, “I don’t think people are going to take it so seriously…” But they did, they’re taking it very seriously.
